All One World
by Anne Trenning

Anne Trenning's All One World is a collection of mostly solo piano pieces with occasional violin, guitar, bass, synth, percussion, harp, wordless vocals, and string quartet accompaniment. In many of her pieces, you can detect a light, refined Celtic sentimentalism, which hints of English polish.

Sometimes, that sentimentalism is woven gently beneath the surface of the music; at others, it's written in bold, red letters across the entire piece, although the "font" remains formal — if you'll forgive the mixed metaphor.

Anne's playing is clean and deliberate, and her songs are solidly structured. She has given us permission to publish one of her tracks here. Please feel free to listen to the piece, which is entitled Clarecastle.

Visit Anne's web site for other samples, to purchase her CDs (she has another recording, Suite Tea, with samples available), or to view her charming photo gallery.
